Lucky Ali, known for his unforgettable songs such as like Ek Pal Ka Jeena, O Sanam, Aa Bhi Jaa and Hairat, once ruled the music industry with his iconic songs. While the singer is not in the limelight often now and doesn’t sing as many songs anymore, his three marriages are often talked about. Lucky Ali, whose birth name is Maqsood Ali got divorced to his third wife Kate Elizabeth Hallam-former Miss England- last year. The singer had a court marriage in Bengaluru in 2010 and the two even have an eight year old son named Dani together.

Now, Lucky Ali’s ex-wife Kate Elizabeth Hallam has opened up about her relationship with Lucky Ali and the things that went wrong in their marriage in an interview with Bombay Times. The actress revealed that while Lucky Ali did his best as someone who was married for the third time, his attention was divided. She told BT, “Maqsood did his best as a man who was married for the third time and took on the responsibility of a third family. However, for a woman, it is hard when you get divided attention; that can be quite something to get used to and live with. My parents have been married for 50 years now, and are traditional in their beliefs. I guess, over the years, I grew to want that for myself — a man who is not divided between three families, but a man who is focused on one family.”

Kate Elizabeth Hallam also revealed that while people think it's not wise to be in a marriage where there are other wives, her marriage to Lucky Ali taught her a lot. She said, “It takes a lot of inner strength to be in such a relationship and it taught me a lot, mentally and spiritually. I attained spiritual enlightenment from my experiences in India, it enhanced my faith. Talking about the equation we share today, there is regular contact, as we want the best for our son. There is no animosity.”
